Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game where players create unique characters and embark on imaginative adventures guided by a Game Master. Players work together, using their creativity to choose how their characters interact with the world to shape how the story unfolds.

These session are all in-person. Although online D&D games are great, playing D&D in-person offers a richer experience. It allows for better social interaction, making it easier to collaborate and connect with other players. In-person sessions create a more immersive atmosphere, which enhances the overall enjoyment of the game.

Me! I'll be the Dungeon Master (DM) which means I will create the world, narrate the story, control the non-player characters, and guide the kids through the adventure. I ensure the game is fun and that everyone has a chance to contribute to the story.

A D&D campaign is a series of interconnected adventures that unfold over multiple sessions, telling a larger story. Each session builds on the previous ones, with characters growing and evolving as they face new challenges. A campaign can easily last several weeks if not years.

It is possible to just jump into it and learn on the fly, but kids can feel lost doing it this way. This can cause frustration or keep them from speaking up. I recommend scheduling an intro session to learn the ropes - just contact me for more info.

Just their imagination! I can provide pencils, character sheets, books, and all the other supplies they'll need. However, kids definitely enjoy picking out a set of custom dice and having their own player's guide to look through.

While Dungeons & Dragons does involve some elements of fantasy combat and adventure, the game is tailored to be age-appropriate and focuses more on problem-solving and teamwork than on fighting. The scenarios are designed to be imaginative and fun rather than frightening. As the Dungeon Master, I ensure that the content is suitable for all players, keeping things light-hearted and avoiding anything too intense or scary. The emphasis is on creativity and collaboration, making it a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I will also send out a form to all parents prior to the start of the game to find out where each family feels comfortable.
